Sara graduated in 2014 from University of Cumbria. Upon graduating Sara spent 18 months working within the NHS covering areas including Acute Medicine, Respiratory, Orthopaedics and Outpatients. Sara has worked within the private sector from graduation but made the full time move in 2015 working in both Newcastle and the Tyne Valley. Prior to Physiotherapy Sara Worked as a Recruitment Consultant and worked in America as a Swim instructor.
Since graduating Sara has completed a number of courses including; Acupuncture, Shockwave, International Sports Massage Diploma, Rocktape Kinesology Taping, Gym Instruction and qualified as a APPI Pilates class instructor in 2017.
Experience working with local rugby clubs and with Scottish premiership football teams she has developed a range of clinical front line skills enhancing her as a practitioner.
Sara currently has a special interest working alongside golfers to improve ball strike and helping these clients with recovery from injury. Along with an interest in woman’s health.
Sara uses a variety of manual techniques Shockwave and acupuncture when treating clients and tailors all of her programmes to individual functional or sporting needs. Sara does not believe in a one size fits all approach and uses evidence based practices to support her all programmes.
Away from physiotherapy Sara is a keen sportswoman and continues to enjoy life in the Tyne Valley she is regularly found either on the golf course or swimming.
